How can I link my Aadhar card with PAN online?

You can link your Aadhaar card with your PAN (Permanent Account Number) online through the Income Tax e-filing portal. Here are the steps to follow:

1. Visit the Income Tax e-filing portal at https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/ 
2. Click on the "Link Aadhaar" option under the "Quick Links" section on the left side of the home page.
3. Enter your PAN and Aadhaar card number in the respective fields.
4. Enter your name as mentioned on your Aadhaar card.
5. Tick the checkbox next to "I have only year of birth in Aadhaar card" if you have only the year of birth mentioned on your Aadhaar card.
6. Enter the captcha code shown on the screen.
7. Click on the "Link Aadhaar" button.

If the details provided by you match with the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) database, your Aadhaar card will be linked with your PAN. You will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number and email ID.

Note: It is mandatory to link your Aadhaar card with your PAN as per the Income Tax Act, 1961.
